I’m not sure if I hear what they claim this EVP says, but there is a bit of strange static:

Orbs on Holiday

Amanda sent me this photo that was taken while on a trip to the Dominican Republic. When taking a picture near water, it is often possible that orbs will show up that are actually water drops on the lens or in the air. However, if you look at these orbs, you will see that they are “lit up” in a fashion that does not seem to correspond to the flash from the camera. Some of the orbs are lit from the right, some from the top, and one is much brighter than all the others. What do you think?

The Haunted Couch

I was very interested in the photos of this antique couch I found on Craigslist. The seller quite naively pointed out “There are no stains or spots–the ones you see were on the camera…” (This person obviously hadn’t heard of orbs.) I am actually a bit more interested in the photos with the white light that seems to take over the left side of the picture. Just a light or something more? My feeling is, this person either lives in a haunted house, or the couch has quite a history of its own.

Halloween Orbs

Happy Halloween! It’s amazing how people now decorate their houses for Halloween like it’s Christmas (albeit, a spooky Christmas). Here’s a photo of some orbs hanging out near the Halloween decorations (the orbs are a bit faint):

The Kitchen Cabinet Ghost

My friend just told me a ghost story. She was at a friend’s house the other day and suddenly a cabinet door in the kitchen opened all by itself. The dogs were going nuts and barking and looking over at something that wasn’t there. My friend and her friend noticed that when they looked through their cellphone cameras, there was a strange blue light. I don’t think they took a picture of the light (darnit) but perhaps we’ll see something in the photos they were taking of their dogs…if something comes up I’ll be sure to share here.

John McCain Has a Few Ghostly Supporters

Here is John McCain with a group of Hillary Clinton supporters (aka “PUMAs”). I was looking at the photo on the No Quarter website, and noticed that it had several orbs in it! There is a rather large orb on the left (on the woman’s sleeve) and a few lighter, smaller ones hovering near the ceiling. Does McCain perhaps have a few ghostly supporters hanging around with him on the campaign trail?

This is a photo of the Rev. Michael Beckwith (from The Secret) and my friend Gabriel taken recently. Note the orb floating to the left of Re. Michael’s head. It is possible the orb is just some sort of strange reflection…I’d like to think it’s an angel, hanging out with these human angels “Michael” and “Gabriel.”

“The Most Horrific EVP Ever Recorded”

The producer claims this is the “most horrific EVP ever recorded.” I can’t speak to that (not having heard every EVP), but this one is pretty scary. Recorded in an old hotel, this recording starts off a bit slow but has the strangest blood-curdling screams in the middle. Unfortunately, investigators were talking in the background while this was recorded, so it is hard to tell what is background noise and what are the EVPs. Spooky, nonetheless.

Sarah Palin “Crop Circle”

Just for fun - a manmade “crop circle” featuring Sarah Palin. The owner of the field described how it was made:

“We contracted with an artist in Idaho who drew the picture and entered it into a GPS system, flew in and cut it with a John Deer tractor,” Wheeler said. “It took him about 8-10 hours to cut it. We saw it from the helicopter it’s just a great image of her. I think she’d be proud.”
