The Miracle Baby Ghost and Other Spooky Stories

There’s a fun little website that shares “true” and fictional ghost stories…(though it’s obvious the “true” stories, such as the one about the “naked ghosts” are also made up). This photo comes from the tale of Sariah, “the miracle child and her friends.” Supposedly a crack baby, she was rescued and now has spirits hovering around her:

I have always been able to see Spirits and Angels around her. On several occasions when I saw them, I took pictures. The Spirits in the picture I identified as my first and second husbands who passed away in our home. The third spirit I don’t know who that was. Both of the ghosts of my deceased husbands were in the exact places where they used to love to hang out. One at the corner of the counter in the kitchen and the other in the living room.

The moment my first husband died, his cows started running wild in the pasture like they did with him when he was alive. He used to run through the pasture with them and they ran around with him like pet dogs. It was as though he was running with them in the spirit. They ran around like that for about one hour. There was about 50 people in our home at the time that he died and one said look at those crazy cows and everyone watched them out of our big bay window. That year we had a drought and the moment he died my friend came running into the house and said the grass turned green on a small hill in the pasture. A week before he died he told me that he was never going to leave me and I will always protect you.

As I said…these are some tall tales.

Step-Ins on Ghost Whisperer

I finally started watching Ghost Whisperer and I love it! It’s like a haunted version of Touched by an Angel. In a recent episode, Melinda (played by Jennifer Love Hewitt) sees the ghost of her husband enter into a new body. On the show, they call this a “step-in,” where one soul replaces another soul whose time is up and has departed for the light.

I have heard of “step-ins” before, only the term I heard used was “walk-in.” A walk-in is typically considered to be a more evolved soul that takes over an adult body to complete tasks on the planet. This often happens after a traumatic event in which the old soul is unable to maintain the life force to keep the body alive. Many have speculated that self-help guru Byron Katie is a walk-in, because of her miraculous transformation during a period of deep depression and complete split with her previous personality.

Orbs on Holiday

Amanda sent me this photo that was taken while on a trip to the Dominican Republic. When taking a picture near water, it is often possible that orbs will show up that are actually water drops on the lens or in the air. However, if you look at these orbs, you will see that they are “lit up” in a fashion that does not seem to correspond to the flash from the camera. Some of the orbs are lit from the right, some from the top, and one is much brighter than all the others. What do you think?

The Haunted Couch

I was very interested in the photos of this antique couch I found on Craigslist. The seller quite naively pointed out “There are no stains or spots–the ones you see were on the camera…” (This person obviously hadn’t heard of orbs.) I am actually a bit more interested in the photos with the white light that seems to take over the left side of the picture. Just a light or something more? My feeling is, this person either lives in a haunted house, or the couch has quite a history of its own.

Halloween Orbs

Happy Halloween! It’s amazing how people now decorate their houses for Halloween like it’s Christmas (albeit, a spooky Christmas). Here’s a photo of some orbs hanging out near the Halloween decorations (the orbs are a bit faint):

The Kitchen Cabinet Ghost

My friend just told me a ghost story. She was at a friend’s house the other day and suddenly a cabinet door in the kitchen opened all by itself. The dogs were going nuts and barking and looking over at something that wasn’t there. My friend and her friend noticed that when they looked through their cellphone cameras, there was a strange blue light. I don’t think they took a picture of the light (darnit) but perhaps we’ll see something in the photos they were taking of their dogs…if something comes up I’ll be sure to share here.

John McCain Has a Few Ghostly Supporters

Here is John McCain with a group of Hillary Clinton supporters (aka “PUMAs”). I was looking at the photo on the No Quarter website, and noticed that it had several orbs in it! There is a rather large orb on the left (on the woman’s sleeve) and a few lighter, smaller ones hovering near the ceiling. Does McCain perhaps have a few ghostly supporters hanging around with him on the campaign trail?

This is a photo of the Rev. Michael Beckwith (from The Secret) and my friend Gabriel taken recently. Note the orb floating to the left of Re. Michael’s head. It is possible the orb is just some sort of strange reflection…I’d like to think it’s an angel, hanging out with these human angels “Michael” and “Gabriel.”
