Snowy Orbs at the Red Mill

Orb photos, I found, can often be soothing instead of sinister. Here is a lovely photo of orbs in a wintery, quaint environment…they almost look like they could be big snowballs suspended in the sky.
The location, the Red Mill in Waupaca, Wisconsin, is apparently a hot spot for paranormal activity. For more pictures, and some background, check out the Orbs at the Red Mill blog.

Here are some interesting EVP recordings from an amateur paranormal investigator. EVP, if you were not aware, stands for “Electronic Voice Phenomenon.” Apparently, electronic equipment can pick up what we can’t hear with our ears…and some people think these strange sounds may, in fact, be the voices of the dead…
Keep listening, because there are some very clear and creepy EVPs in this collection.

This video surprised me! Even if it is a fake, it is worth a watch. (Pay attention to the lower right-hand corner.)

You know, I can’t say for certain that orbs are anything more than camera artifacts. I have had some very strange experiences with orbs, however, that make me think there really might be something to them. Why was it, for example, that the only orb photos that ever came out of my dad’s digital camera happened to be taken in the haunted pool area of the Queen Mary? For some funny reason, the orbs never seemed to want to show up in more mundane locations, or when he was taking a picture of the dog.
Skeptics, however, will try to poke holes into anything that vaguely smacks of the paranormal. Don’t get me wrong - it’s good to investigate. But just because you can make a somewhat similar orb photo by faking it, it doesn’t mean real ones don’t exist (the same goes for crop circles).
Here’s a purposefully faked orb photo. From my view, it does not quite look the orbs that show up accidentally on camera. What do you think?

I took some photos at a one-woman show last year and some orbs showed up for the entertainment. Here’s an orb earlier in the show:
And now, later in the show, they have coalesced around her face:

Here’s a very creepy picture that was shared at the Coast to Coast website. A nurse was testing the flash in her camera in a room that was unlit. Look what popped up in the mirror!
Here’s a close-up:
As you can see, there is a very well-defined man sitting in the mirror image of the room. I have to wonder…is this a real photo or something that was done up in Photoshop? You decide.

Here is an interesting photo taken in Kilmainham Gaol (Jail) in Dublin, Ireland. It was recently posted on Coast to Coast’s website, and you can read the full story there. As you can see, there is a large orb floating in the foreground. The woman who submitted the photo also thought she saw the ghost of a young boy and a woman with a child in the back:
For the life of me, I could not see any people in the photo, even in her blown up version. I adjusted the contrast and brightness in Photoshop, and here is the result:
Look in the darkened doorway. I’m not sure if what she calls a boy’s face is actually a face, but it does look like another orb to me. You can also see an orb floating in the hallway. What do you see?

I don’t remember where I found this photo, but it’s a picture of two people in the grounds of a Hindu Temple in Kauai, Hawaii. Note the glowing aura.
